Parents...
We want you to be a part of the DBU Family!
Now that your son or daughter is embarking on this adventure called college, we understand that you may have many questions and concerns about providing the best education for your child.
You are trusting us with your most precious investment—your child—and we take this responsibility very seriously. We want to reinforce the values you have instilled in your child by guiding and mentoring him or her into a closer walk with God and teaching him or her how to be a servant leader like Christ. We want to walk alongside you in helping your child flourish in college and beyond.
The Office of Student Affairs stands ready to assist you and your student in any way possible. In addition to programs and services that support students intellectually, physically, spiritually, and socially, the Student Affairs Office also serves as a clearing house of information and can help guide students to the appropriate resources on campus. We encourage you to direct your student to our office so we can assist them in navigating their college experience. Likewise, if you have questions about options available to your college student, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We are here to support you, the parents of our DBU students. You may contact the Student Affairs Office at 214-333-5101. For more information about the Student Affairs staff visit the Student Affairs website at http://www.dbu.edu/campuslife.
We look forward to serving you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Mark Hale
Dean of Students
