Dallas Baptist University honored Beth Grace, Patty Holcomb, and Peggy Horner at the 2019 Ruth Awards Luncheon on December 4. The event was hosted by DBU's Women's Auxiliary Board and took place at the Hillcrest Great Hall of the John G. Mahler Student Center.

Every year, the Ruth Awards are presented to women who exemplify a devotion to God, family, and community as encompassed in the biblical story of Ruth. Each of this year's recipients - Beth, Patty, and Peggy - reflect this character and were presented with the award at this year's Christmas Luncheon.

Kaye Dawn Lunsford, President of the Women's Auxiliary Board, started the luncheon with a prayer and a word of welcome to all in attendance. Following a special performance by the DBU Legacy Choir, DBU President Dr. Adam Wright gave an introduction and remarks. Afterwards, the honorees were presented with the awards by Kevin Grace, Pam Jones, and Tim Horner. Leslie Moulton, Executive Director of the Women's Auxiliary Board, closed the ceremony with a prayer of dedication.
