DBU Recognized by Military Times Best for Vets
For ten years, Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges has been a top resource helping veterans make important decisions regarding their education by providing the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools. The 2021 college rankings have been published with DBU ranking 3rd in the Southwest among private, not-for-profit colleges. Surveys sent to colleges and universities across the nation requesting information about their programs for veterans were analyzed along with public data obtained from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs.
"This is such a great accomplishment that we have been blessed with," says Chris Deckard, a USAF Veteran and DBU's Director of Military and Veteran Services. "This shows our dedication to all our military members, including Veterans, Active Duty, spouses, and their dependents. I am so proud and honored to be a part of this great University."
DBU also consistently ranks as a Military Friendly School offering several scholarship opportunities such as the DBU Veterans Opportunity Scholarship and the Yellow Ribbon Program. DBU is devoted to guiding vets and active service members all throughout their academic journey toward a successful calling and career.
