DBU Selected for 2022-2023 “Gold” Award Status from the Military Friendly Company

Each year, the Military Friendly Company compiles a list of colleges and organizations "whose commitment to serving the military and Veteran community is comprehensive in scope and meaningful in terms of actual outcomes and impact." Out of the 1,800 schools surveyed across the nation, only 282 were selected for "Gold" award status for their leading practices, outcomes, and effective programs, one of which was Dallas Baptist University.

School rankings are determined by Viqtory- a company that strives to introduce military Veterans to civilian employment, entrepreneurship, and education opportunities- and the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders in higher education in tandem with survey responses and government/ public data. Measured by an ability to meet thresholds for retention, graduation, job placement, repayment, persistence, and loan default rates, the Military Friendly Company names their Gold, Silver, and Bronze award recipients.
