DBU REPORT I 2016-2021 OVERVIEW 24 The past five years have seen continued growth throughout the campus at DBU. Beyond the growing on-campus population and amazing visibility reach, the campus has continued to grow both in its physical facilities and in the care and advancement of the people that make up University Hill. Growing University Hill Inside and Out For 33 years in a row, DBU has continued to balance the budget, even more amazingly in the midst of a global pandemic and uncertain economic strains. Since 2016, DBU has increased the size of its campus, added new buildings, renovated existing facilities, hired new faculty and staff, diversified its leadership, raised employee salaries, launched successful giving campaigns, and continues to beautify the campus with the addition of new facilities and landscape features and the planting of more than 700 trees.
