DBU REPORT 34 • Enrolled a total of 4,348 students: 2,968 undergraduate students, 1,142 graduate students, and 238 doctoral students • Welcomed our largest incoming freshman class with 687 students • Hit our largest population of student-athletes with a total of 449 • Grew to 1,142 graduate students compared to 1,011 last fall • Welcomed a total of 604 international students from more than 50 countries around the world • Hosted more students living on-campus than ever before in the history of DBU with 2,129 residents • Continued to add outstanding servant leaders to our already exceptional faculty members • DBU Athletics returned to championship form with the DBU Cheer and Dance teams winning back-to-back National Championships. • DBU Baseball competed in the NCAA Division I regional tournament for the 8th consecutive year and the 11th time since 2006 • Raised and grew to a record endowment of $67 million As we approach our 125th year since our founding in Decatur in 1898, this past year stands out as a milestone year in the history of DBU. We were able to celebrate wonderful blessings, none of which would be possible without the support from friends like you. A Year of Impact & Transformation The Mission of Dallas Baptist University is to provide Christ-centered quality higher education in the arts, sciences, and professional studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to traditional age and adult students in order to produce servant leaders who have the ability to integrate faith and learning through their respective callings.
