SUMMER 2023 19 At the end of a busy day, which included a moving footwashing ceremony within their small groups, students gathered for a Candlelighting service, a reflective time that bookends their DBU experience on Christ and encourages students to consider their calling to be salt and light in the world. The weekend closed out with more small group time, recreational SWAT corps team competitions, and a late night Block Party.
