Journal of K-12 Educational Research 67 demonstrated teacher turnover percentages do not tell the whole story. Some teachers will grow tired and may choose to just leave. On the other hand, there is another population of teachers who should be carefully considered. These are teachers who enjoy teaching and love seeing their students achieve, but nonetheless were considering an exit from the profession. Districts should not let teachers who believe in the craft of teaching and enjoy doing it walk away so easily. References Adams, K. C. (2003).
