84 About the Author Dr. Weldon Bonner has served the children, parents and communities of Lewisville ISD for three decades as a classroom teacher, campus administrator, and district leader. In his final leadership role, Dr. Bonner led the Employee Services in Lewisville ISD responsible for 6500+ colleagues. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the University of Texas-Tyler, Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the University of North Texas, and a Doctor of Education in Education Leadership K-12 from Dallas Baptist University. A recent retiree from Texas public education, Dr. Bonner continues to serve the Lewisville community as the Director of Member and Community Relations with the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce.
