56 About the Author Dr. Kandiest Martin-Brock serves as the District Coordinator for Innovation and School Improvement in Beaumont Independent School District. Other previous positions include Secondary Assistant Principal in Richardson ISD, Elementary School Principal in Grand Prairie ISD, and Elementary School Principal in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.
