Jonathan Fechner

Executive Director

Jonathan Fechner serves as the Chief of Staff at Dallas Baptist University, as well as the Executive Director of the Institute for Global Engagement. Prior to his transition to academia, Jonathan served as the Executive Director of BridgeBuilders, a non-profit in South Dallas providing afterschool programming, career development, and transitional housing for the most marginalized in our community. 

Jonathan received a master's in International Studies from Dallas Baptist University and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies studying the correlation between leadership styles and conflict resolution. Jonathan is married to Casea Fechner and they have one daughter, Collins.
