Float Tip Off
Fall Event | Homecoming
We kick off homecoming week with this event! Each year, we have a homecoming parade filled floats that are created, designed, and decorated by our Greek Life Organizations. They begin the creation process on night one of homecoming week, also known as the Float-Tip Off. It takes place on the quad, and it is fun to see all of Greek Life together. They start with bare chicken wire and plywood structures and, with the help of a little tissue paper, create amazing floats. It takes a lot of hands and work but is gladly accompanied by lots of music and occasional snacks.
