Christian Studies Major (BA/BS)
The Christian Studies major is for undergraduate students preparing for careers in church-related vocations other than the traditional pastoral ministry or planning to pursue graduate studies in the field. The well-balanced curriculum prepares DBU graduates to assume positions as ministers of education, youth and children's workers, and other related church ministries. DBU's graduates demonstrate management and church administration skills, including age-group administration and leadership, function creatively with other professional staff and church members, and are capable of developing programs for evangelism and outreach.

Program Testimonials
Grace Salmon

"DBU is boldly dedicated to the Lord and to equipping its students to follow God’s call in whatever vocation He calls them to pursue. God has been faithful to use DBU to grow me to be a more dedicated disciple of Christ, a more diligent student, a more loyal friend, and a more equipped member of my community."
Jacob Howard

"The Christian Studies degree has helped me mature in so many ways. I have grown not only in knowledge but also love for the Lord. The information covered in the coursework can be used practically in everyday life and ministry. The most influential aspect of the degree program has been the professors. They care greatly for the emotional and spiritual growth of their students. They lead not only by word but also by example of how to serve the Lord in relationships and ministry!"
Debbie Towers
"Each class for the Christian Studies degree program taught me so much and prepared me for ministry. The teachers invest more than just their teaching hours. They genuinely want to see you succeed. I highly recommend the Christian Studies program to anyone wanting to follow the Lord’s call into ministry."
