What DBU's Engineering Program Offers

If you feel led to make a difference and serve others with a career in the engineering disciplines, DBU offers a Christ-focused education. This Christ-centered journey gives students an opportunity to complete an Associate of Engineering degree at DBU and prepares them to complete their BS in engineering at a receiving school.

DBU's engineering program provides students with a foundation in engineering as well as many hands-on opportunities. One such opportunity engages the student in an off-campus industry where they complete projects as part of their lab assignments. The curriculum offers the students four tracks of study:

  • Biomedical engineering
  • Computer engineering
  • Electrical engineering
  • Mechanical engineering

Graduates of DBU's Associate of Engineering Program can enter their junior year of engineering school at Baylor University. DBU partners with Baylor University and provides DBU graduates with a seamless pathway to transfer to Baylor and pursue a BS in engineering from Baylor.
