Dr. Jaime Grandstaff joined the faculty in 2024, teaching undergraduate and
graduate accounting courses in the College of Business. She brings her love
of the Lord, combined with her love of accounting to DBU, along with a
decade of teaching experience from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa
and Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Prior to beginning her teaching
career, Dr. Grandstaff gained professional experience through external
auditing with Ernst & Young, and internal auditing with Berkshire Hathaway
Energy and the Office of the Inspector General at the Tennessee Valley
Authority, as well as serving Dickinson Law in Des Moines, Iowa as the firm’s
executive director of administration. She holds the CPA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, and
CGMA designations. Dr. Grandstaff received a Doctorate from Creighton
University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has published in peer-reviewed journals,
such as Accounting Perspectives, the Journal of Forensic Accounting
Research, and the Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting.

Dr. Grandstaff and her husband have three sons, and they love to spend as
much time with them as possible. She believes that sharing the Gospel,
encouraging others in their faith, and pouring into your family are the most
fulfilling ways to serve God.
