Costs
Payment for housing is due on the 1st of each month and should be paid online through the Student Account Center on WebAdvisor or in person at the DBU Cashier’s Office. If paying in person, the Cashier's Office accepts personal checks, cash, and credit card. If using a credit card, DBU will not pay the card’s service fee, which usually amounts to 2‑3% in addition to the purchase. The cost per apartment includes all utilities, cable television, and wireless internet. (Rates are subject to change from Agreement Term to Agreement Term.) Payment for the unit is due monthly in the full amount but is split up evenly amongst roommates. Rates will vary with the number of residents per unit. Colonial Village Apartments must have a minimum of 4 residents and can have an optional 5th to lower the cost. Mabee Village Townhomes and Brownstones must have a minimum of 6 residents and can have an optional 7th to lower the cost. The preferred method of payment is online through the Student Account Center. If rent is mailed in, we ask that the mail be postmarked on or before the 1st day of the month. There will be fees charged to the student’s account if the rent is paid late. Rent is considered late on or after the 4th of the month.
