What is the Hope and Future Scholarship?
This is a scholarship specifically designed to bless those middle-class families whose students have a calling for college but do not have sufficient funds to finance that vision from the Lord. In the spirit of Jer 29:11, we know God places a vision, calling or conviction on our hearts; but at certain seasons in our lives, we do not have the resources to nurture that calling or bring that vision to fruition. But if we are faithful to that calling, our way-making God will make the impossible possible.
This scholarship is in response to that! It is God’s way-making future; it is His provision for a future that at the moment might only seem like a dimly lit hope. Thus, appropriately named the “Hope and Future Scholarship,” these funds help provide your student a future at DBU, keeping your hope alive!
$2,000 + Academic Scholarship ($9,000-$13,000) per year based on high school GPA, test scores, and interview.
Eligibility for the University Honors Program Scholarship is determined by the DBU Application for Admission, the University Honors Program Application, and requires admittance/enrollment into the University Honors Program. For more information, visit the University Honors Program website.
