Please follow the steps below to ensure a successful start to your first semester at DBU.
Steps to Completing Your Admissions File
All applicants must submit a completed application for admission and the following:
- Students who enrolled in college previously, even if no credit was earned, will need to submit official copies of transcripts from all colleges the student has enrolled in before a final admission decision can be made.
- Working adults with prior college credit must have their transcripts evaluated. Please note, students with transfer credits cannot be adequately advised until their transcripts have been evaluated.
- Working adult students with fewer than 24 credit hours of college credit must submit a final official high school transcript or GED documentation.

Set-up Your MyDBU Account
Students must set up a MyDBU account to register for classes, view their financial aid award, check their DBU email, or make payments on their accounts. Follow the video directions to set up a MyDBU account or call the DBU Computer Lab at (214) 333‑5500 for assistance.
Register for Classes

Your advisor's name will be listed in your MyDBU account. If you need assistance finding your advisor, please call the advising center at (214) 333‑6843 or email advising@dbu.edu.
Receive a DBU Student ID Card
Receive a Student ID card at the DBU Computer Lab (Collins Learning Center, map).
Obtain a DBU Parking Permit
All faculty, staff, and students who drive a personal vehicle onto the DBU campus are required to register their vehicle with the University Police Department each academic year. If you are attending classes entirely online, you do not need to obtain a parking permit.
