Tamy Rogers Named DBU Staff Member of the Year

Dallas, TX – Tamy Rogers, Director of Human Resources, was named the 2015 Staff Member of the Year at Dallas Baptist University.

Tamy joined the DBU staff in 1994 serving as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Financial Affairs. Since that time, Tamy has served faithfully in the financial affairs department worked with all of the members of the DBU faculty and staff. She is also responsible for the Wellness Program, Title IX Coordinator, and for planning many of the summer events for the faculty and staff.

Tamy has previously worked with Perot Systems, Scott & White Hospital and Clinic in Temple, and Roming and Porter Engineers.

Tamy holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and a Master of Arts in Management, both from DBU.

Tamy is married to Mark Rogers, who also works at DBU as a full-time staff member in Physical Operations. Tamy has three step daughters: Sarah, Allison, and Amanda. The couple attends First Baptist Church in Mart, Texas, where she is active in Sunday School and the women’s ministry.
