Giving Day 2019 Recap
Dallas Baptist University held its inaugural Giving Day on May 3 to honor the faithfulness of the group of men and women who gathered in southern Dallas in 1964 for the groundbreaking of then Dallas Baptist College. Over 50 years later, DBU continues with the same mission to produce the next generation of servant leaders.
Through the generosity of many individuals on this special day over $110,000 was raised as donors came together so that future leaders can experience Christ-centered, transformative education on University Hill. Donations were made to numerous areas including student scholarships, athletics, and academic programs, with each donation equipping students to fulfill the callings God has placed on their lives.
“I am so thankful for the generosity of the DBU Family making our inaugural Giving Day such a success,” DBU President Dr. Adam Wright shared. “These investments are supporting the preparation of men and women who are being prepared to lead with character and equipped to transform the world.”
