TEACP Principal Certification

Enhance Your Career in Education

Leadership matters! Gallup reports that great leaders tremendously impact every organization. They increase worker retention, motivation, engagement, and overall sense of wellbeing. These employee results also impact the customer experience and the bottom line. The same is certainly true in schools as well. Great leaders help schools build stronger, positive cultures of trust and high expectations.

At DBU, we take our mission very seriously. Our goal is to develop Christ-centered servant leaders with the ability to integrate faith and learning to transform the world in whatever field they have been called. We believe students and schools desperately need great Christ-centered servant-leaders.

The Texas Education Alternative Certification Program (TEACP) for Educational Leadership is a three-semester program. Most students are full-time teachers looking fulfill God’s calling and broaden their impact through campus leadership. Most students take 2 classes per semester in the evenings. The cost is a flat fee of $5500 for up to 6 classes (18-hours) and seminars to help students prepare for the TExES 268 written exam and the TExES 368 Performance Assessment of School Leaders (PASL) tasks.
