Dallas, TX – The Institute for Global Engagement recently welcomed noted political analyst Matthew Dowd as the keynote speaker for the semi-annual Leadership Lecture Series. Dowd, a current ABC News political analyst, formerly served as the chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney 2004 presidential campaign. Dowd’s remarks focused on the current political climate in America after the 2016 election.
Dallas, TX – With more than 1,000 people gathered in the Patty and Bo Pilgrim Chapel, DBU alumnus and 2016 World Series MVP Ben Zobrist recalled his historic moment during this past year’s World Series. Zobrist, who served as a veteran influence for the Chicago Cubs, had an outstanding impact on the series, culminating in a go-ahead RBI double that sealed the Cubs victory in extra innings in Game 7.
Dallas, TX – This January, the DBU dance team, the Patriettes, travelled to Northern England to spend a week in ministry, using their gift of dance to spread the love of Christ.
